Can you believe you will be launching in just over 1 month?! Your launch deadline is coming up in just a few short weeks. We thought we could spice things up and make meeting this deadline more fun with some friendly squad vs. squad competition.

Your Mission: Be the squad with the highest percentage of Racers to reach your $9,000 fundraising goal in your support summary by September 1st

AND

Have the highest percentage of people to complete the Stewardship Ambassador training.

We will average these two percentages together and the squad with the highest total percentage will WIN an all expenses paid day trip to Lake Lanier!

On a hot, summer day in Georgia, there’s nothing quite like a dip in the lake. You and your squad could be HERE (while everyone else sweats it out on campus) in just a few short weeks if you’re willing to put the work in now to meet your goal.

Just imagine - a day of play and sun with your squad, laying on the beach, exploring Don Carter State Park, swimming in the cool water, enjoying a day off of the Adventures in Missions property. Trust me, you want this.

The Specifics:

  • Funds must be fully showing on your fundraising summary by 9 am on September the 1st. Nothing “in process” will be counted towards the competition (though it will go towards your launching goal).

    • Keep in mind: checks take 2 weeks to process, and online donations take 3-5 business days, so the sooner you invite people to partner with you, the better!

  • Completing the Stewardship Ambassador training is just as important! We know this will give you the best foundation as you continue to raise funds from the field. Completing this training means

    • having your first call (Sign up HERE)

    • watching all of the fundraising training videos online

    • and completing your role play call with Stewardship Ambassadors. You must do both calls and all the videos for your progress to count for a win.

  • At 9 am on September 1st, we will tally up everyone’s fundraising and rate of completion.

  • If more than one squad completes both challenges, the first squad to 100% on both will WIN THE LAKE DAY.

This fight is not "every man for himself." Take this challenge together as a squad. There can be no victory in this battle without teamwork! Come together to interact, plan, and work together to reach your fundraising goal. Hold each other accountable to meeting with people and get the word out about what you are doing.

It’s time to show some squad pride, work together, and step forth as champions!

Let the challenge commence!

3, 2, 1 .....GO!
