Boot Camp Details

You've patiently waited, and now it’s here!

Please read the following information carefully. Once you have planned your travel, please update the "travel" section of your profile! This information is due by May 26th.

World Race Gap Year Boot Camp will be

June 16 - 20

at the Adventures in Missions campus in Gainesville, Georgia!

6000 Wellspring Trail

Gainesville, GA 30506

TRAVELING TO CAMP

If you're flying:

Book a flight arriving to Atlanta, GA (ATL) no later than 12:30pm on June 16th.

An Adventures in Missions shuttle will transport you from the airport to Camp. You will get your bags and head to the atrium quickly once you land. Details to come closer to camp!

Book a flight departing from Atlanta, GA (ATL) no earlier than 1:30 pm** on June 20th.

If you're driving:

Arrive at Adventures in Missions between 3 and 4 PM on June 16th.

Remember to take time zone changes and traffic into account as you plan your travel. Please don't arrive before 3pm, there will be nothing for you to do!

*Plan to depart from Boot Camp at 9:30 AM** on June 20th.

**BOOT CAMP OPEN HOUSE FOR PARENTS (June 20, 2021 from 10-12 am) - This is departure day for Racers at the end of their Boot Camp (June 16-20).  The Parent Open House is a chance for your parents to meet Adventures in Missions staff, get to know other World Race parents who will be journeying with them, hear about the resources we have for them, ask their questions and explore the next steps in preparing to launch their Racers in September. This is NOT the 2-day Parent Launch that will be held in September when Racers return for their launch.

If your parents would like to attend this free event, please have them register through this link.  There are more details available on the Eventbrite registration page.  They will need to register all attending family members, but do not register the Racer.

This event will be made available virtually to parents who are not able to attend in person.

If your parents are attending the Open House, you will have a place on campus to hang out during the meetings - and your parents will be responsible for your transportation at the end of the Open House.  There is no shuttle option to or from the airport for the Open House.

If your parents are not attending the Open House you must leave campus by 9:30 a.m. - either driving or on the shuttle to the airport.  This means that you can book flights for any time after 1:00 pm .  (For Open House attendees, we recommend not booking a flight before 4:00 pm.)

Now you can open a new tab, book your travel, and update your profile with your travel plans :)

We are SO excited to meet you!!
